I was born and raised in Brunswick, Georgia. Some say I never got the sand out of my shoes. I attended the University of Georgia where I majored in Nutrition & Food Service Management.
While raising my two great kids, Miles and Martha, I worked part time as a 4 year old and Kindergarten teacher. As they got older, I was able to focus on my interest. For six years I ran my own catering business working with individuals and corporations in the Jacksonville area. I also worked at Hendricks Day School as the Event Coordinator in the Development Office planning many school wide events and golf tournaments.
Being part of the original team who started Chets Creek Church, I was thrilled when I was asked to come on staff in 2006. Being at Chets is like watching your own child grow up: there is never a dull moment because it is always doing something new and exciting.
You can always find me out catching a movie or dinner with friends, baking something in the kitchen, making plans to travel or organizing some sort of event. My down time is spent reading a good book or watching Georgia football!
