We're excited to introduce you to Andrew Kistler. Our Hodges Campus church members voted to call Andrew to serve as our full-time Associate Minister to Students for the Hodges Campus in our services this week.
As our Associate Minister to Students, Andrew will partner with Jeff Tapp and the rest of the Chets Students Team to lead our ministry to middle and high school students. He will be focused on middle school LifeGroups, Worship, REFUEL, and other environments that help our church partner with parents to raise a generation of world changers.
Born and raised in Moultrie, Georgia, Andrew attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and worked in the turf industry for five years. Sensing God’s call on his life into ministry, he moved to Atlanta and completed his undergraduate degree at Leavell College of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Andrew worked at the North American Mission Board (NAMB) serving churches for six years while volunteering as the student pastor at his church. He met his wife, Megan, at NAMB and they are expecting their first child in May! Andrew and Megan love going on dates, watching Clemson football, and doing anything outside. They have a heart to see students seeking Jesus in community with one another and believe that students are not just the church of tomorrow, but the church of today.
Please join us in welcoming the Kistlers to our Chets family!
