Impact Jax is our annual day of service. Each year we send teams to make a difference in our community. Please review the opportunities below. Once you select a project site you would like to participate in, complete the registration form at the bottom of this page.

Please note that you do not have to choose a project based on the campus you attend regularly. The campus designations indicate where those teams will gather for breakfast and prayer before heading to the project sites.

    Description:
    Kidz Xtreme serves at-risk children and their families in northwest Jacksonville by ministering to their spiritual and physical needs. Come and build relationships with the kids and volunteers as we sponsor a community block party with games, food, and prayer.

    Description:
    Join us as we roll sleeves and transform the yard of our Senior Citizen in Jacksonville. Through mowing, pruning, weeding, and beatification efforts, we’ll create a welcoming and safe environment that uplifts the spirit of those being served.

    Description:
    Join us as we deep clean the client and office spaces at First Coast Women’s Service as a practical expression of appreciation for these ladies. This project will focus on maintaining the welcoming and caring environment for women experiencing unplanned pregnancies.

    Description:
    Join us as we serve One-More-Child at their thrift store operations. We’ll work side by side to sort through donated clothes, organize them by size, style, and quality. Through our efforts, we’ll create a well-arranged and appealing display that allows customers to find hidden gems with ease. We will also have the opportunity to pack food backpacks for students in need.

    Description:
    Join with this partner ministry to meet cleaning and relational needs of adult cancer and transplant patients and their caregivers.

    Description:
    Join us as we sponsor a Pancake Brunch for residents as well as a paper shredding event. This is a great opportunity to build relationships with residents!

    Description:
    Homelessness is not only an adult problem… countless teens also find themselves living on the streets. This problem is most prevalent among youth that age out of foster care and suddenly find themselves homeless, without a support network, and completely unprepared to survive on their own. The teens and young adults that Daniel Kids help find themselves without a stable home, parental support or financial resources. Join us for an outdoor project at Daniel’s residential facility as we beautify the campus and build relationships with these young adults. After the beautification project, we will join the students for a pancake brunch!

    Description:
    Join us as we prepare materials and resources for expectant mothers and pray over these young families. We will be personalizing Bibles for each mom with tabs as well as highlighting key verses.

    Description:
    Come join us at our Hodges Campus to pack snacks and activity welcome bags for families at the Ronald McDonald House.

    Description:
    Provide morale-boosting support to Service Members deployed around the world through letters, coloring sheets, and more! Join us as we share encouragement and joy with our deployed service men and women to say “Thank You” to all who serve.

    Description:
    The Cheerful Hearts Pillow Ministry of Chets Creek Church makes comfort support pillows for Breast Cancer and Cardiac patients across Jacksonville. These heart shape comfort support pillows are used to soothe both physical and emotional pain immediately after breast surgery, radiation or other treatment. Volunteers are needed to cut, sew, stuff and bag heart shaped pillows for local hospitals. Each pillow comes with a note from our church. No sewing experience needed!

    Description:
    The mission of Hadassah’s Hope is to reach and restore women in the adult entertainment industry by sharing the hope and love of Jesus. Join us at their new location to clean the client and office spaces as a practical expression of appreciation for these ladies. We will also prayer walk the campus and offer encouragement to the ladies present.

    Description:
    The global refugee crisis persists, and amidst this, individuals and families continue to flee conflict, persecution, and hardship in search of safety and hope. Every day, countless families embark on harrowing journeys, seeking refuge in unfamiliar lands, hoping for a chance at a better life. Join us with our partner ministry, Beyond90, to set up apartments for newly arrived refugee families.

    Description:
    Isaiah 117 provides a comforting home where transitioning foster children can be brought to a safe and friendly place with loving volunteers who provide clean clothes, smiles, toys, and snuggly blankets. Join the Isaiah 117 staff as we switch over their Giving Room from summer to fall clothes and hear stories of the impacted children and families.

    Description:
    The statistics of homelessness in Jacksonville, FL are staggering with over 1,400 homeless, of which 25% are women and children. Join our team at this ministry site to help meet the physical, relational, and spiritual needs of those served by Trinity Rescue Mission. This site will focus on outdoor beautification.

Palm Valley Campus:

    Description:
    The mission of Rejoice Transforming Ministries is to proclaim the good news of Christ and saturate the Lowell Correctional Institution with the Word of God. Join us as we write cards and pack goody bags for the inmates. We will also pack bags of LOVE for DCF employees and spend time praying for at-risk children and their families in partnership with Isaiah 117.

    Description:
    Join us for beautification projects around the campus including pressure washing, planting bushes around the cemetery, mulching, and painting the playground equipment. Please bring yard tools including shovels and rakes.

Southside Campus:

    Description:
    Join this ministry site for the opportunity to serve refugees, immigrants, homeless, foster children, and the underserved community. Kim’s Open Door engages people of all ages and diverse backgrounds to teach life skills and encourage kids to dream through mentoring, clubs and events. Come and build relationships with the kids and volunteers as we sponsor a community block party with games, food, and prayer.

    Description:

    Join us as the hands and feet of Christ as we love on Greenfield Elementary School with beautification projects around the campus. Our main focus will be to revamp 3 flowerbeds.
