Life isn’t always sunshine and chocolate. It’s hard. Being a Christian doesn’t change that. Each day comes with struggles as we juggle our various roles. Sharing our challenges is a way to find comfort, relieve stress, and refine our faith. We will read different stories and discuss the questions at the end of each testimony. When we share our struggles, when we are real, that’s when we truly point others to Jesus.

Too many of us walk through life feeling like we don’t measure up. We always seem to thirst for more. We think if we could only work harder or be better, we could be enough. But the truth is, we will never be enough. Thankfully we don’t have to be! Join us as we walk through key passages in the Book of John to demonstrate how only Jesus is enough. We don’t have to prove anything because Jesus has proven everything. Discover how our thirsty hearts can only be quenched by the living water.

Pain is inevitable. It may range in intensity from temporary inconvenience to terminal inevitability, but regardless, you can’t avoid it. In the pages of the Old Testament we find Job, a good and godly man, who suffered devastating loss. His plight seemed unfair. His comforters became critics. His questions went unanswered. Yet in the midst of his darkness, light peeked through, hope stayed the course, and unlikely joy emerged. Come experience healing from God who cares for you and know that He sees your hardship and welcomes your difficult questions. Your pain can be transformed into a conduit for God’s glory and compassionate comfort.

Come discover how Jesus lived a life of interruptions, yet always welcomed people and invited them to follow Him. Learn to create a legacy of invitation and reflect Jesus through simple acts of service. You will be equipped with creative ideas and hands on examples of how to walk a road of welcome in your daily life. You can do this – just open the door!

Women are wired to control. We make sure the house is clean, the meals are prepared, the beds are made, the children are dressed, and everyone gets to where they’re going on time. But sometimes our strength of being conscientious can morph into the weakness of being a control freak. This humorous, yet spiritually practical book will help you learn how to control what you should, trust God with what you can’t and more importantly decide which one is which! Stop pursuing the appearance of perfection and start pursuing the person of God.
